Traditional Mediation:
Although in the Philippines there are supposed to be 5 District Courts providing Shariah Rulings, and 51 Circuit Shariah Courts, almost all of these positions are vacant, for reasons under investigation. The Sultanate offers Traditional Mediation at the Jolo office. Disputes may be brought to the Sultan for help in resolving them.
Trade and Investment Opportunities:
The Sulu Archipelago is rich in marine and agricultural resources. There are many investment opportunities. For advice and guidance before establishing any business venture in Sulu, you are invited to consult with the Sultanate.
Cultural Presentations:
A series of dance, dramatic, and musical presentations highlighting the rich history of the Sultanate will soon begin a world tour. For now, if you wish to have performers at one of your events, you may contact the Sultanate for recommended performers.
Research:
The Manila office has a library with extensive records of the Sultanate and Philippine history.
Environmental surveillance:
Please report any violations and concerns to the Sultan, who has great concern for the environment of Sulu and the Philippines.
